If you are a PC user of some years standing, you may now be thinking that the time has come to upgrade your current PC. Where to start though? It probably depends on age (the computers not yours!). If it’s more than 5 years’ old then it’s likely that a new machine would be more cost effective than an upgrade. This is because the changes that have occurred in both hardware and software (the physical components and the programs they run) is immense and older machines have become obsolete because they can’t be fitted with the newer components which modern programs demand. Between 2 and 5 years old and upgrades are a possibility but we will give you honest advice. Besides, your needs may have changed and you might now be looking to spread your wings. Either way, give us a call. If your computer is fairly new then the chances are that a few relatively inexpensive tweaks may transform it into a speed demon. Tell us what you want to do with it and where it is lagging behind and we’ll do the rest.
